Unfortunately no.  Lightning Angel is not only a poor creature by type I standards, but it's not a combo card.  You can't use Lightning Angel for combo anymore than you can use a Mana Drain for beatdown.  

If you want to make a beginner Type 1 combo deck, I'd try dragon.  Even with the restriction of entomb, the buried alive builds are are good as ever.  There are some nice threads on this in the Extreme Vintage forum.
