I'm not a fan of turning a mono color deck into a 2 or 3 color deck.  One strength of decks like sui is in the mana base.  Adding some extra removal in the form of Deed is not worth opening yourself to Wastes and Blood Moons.  You're already running Powder Kegs and (you should run) Dystopias side.  That's plenty of removal.

If you really insist on running B/G, that's not a bad build.  Just switch the Tainted lands for Bayous.  Still, I'd consider staying straight black.

BTW, you might want to read the Nether Void primer.  Part 3 deals with splashing colors, especially green.  Its covers all the issues I've brought up.  Read it if you're still not sure what colors you want to run.

to be honest, i dont have the money to buy me voids or bayous. my main concern is:

-do i have enough green mana sources?
-is the deck strong enough for aggro environment?

other thoughts of mine:

-2 treetop village
-4 Diabolic Edict
-1 Demonic Consultation

+ 4 mishra's factory
+ 1 spiritmonger
+ 2 City of Brass

it would look like this:

4 River Boa
4 Phyrexian Negator
4 Hypnotic Specter
2 Spiritmonger

4 Dark Ritual
4 Duress
4 Hymn to Tourach
4 Pernicious Deed

1 Sol Ring
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Regrowth
1 Yawgmoth's Will

2 City of Brass
4 Mishra's Factory
4 Tainted Wood
4 Llanowar Wastes
12 Swamp

Sideboard

4 Tormod's Crypt
4 Phyrexian Negator
4 Gloom
3 Contagion

as i said, i dont have much money. but suggests are very welcome

It doesn't look bad, the obvious exception being the lack of duals. SB'd Gloom looks a little funky to me. I assume that is a metagame call for some reason? Oh, and 8 Negators?

I personally would lean towards cutting the 2 Cities of Brass for a Strip and a Wasteland and turning the 2 'mongers into Masticores. You still make off with a regenerating, aggro-owning fattie and solidify the manabase a bit at the same time. If there is no real danger in non-basic lands (I.E. Noone is gonna bust out a LoA on you), then I would suggest just making them swamps.

Better advice might come if I knew what you want to be prepared for locally. If it just Sligh and Suicide, I would make the maindeck 'gators into Phyrexian Warbeast or better yet, Nantuko "don't mess with me stupid aggro deck" Shade.

Hey disasterpiece, I have a similar deck that I like to play for fun.  I'll post it so you can take a look at it.  Since you don't have the bayou's you'll have to work with the mana base.

Here's my current decklist:

//NAME: The Rock Variant
// CREATOR: Captain Cannibus
// CREATED: 2/11/2003 11:11:00 PM
// FORMAT: Classic
// Lands
        4 Bayou
        4 Bloodstained Mire
        2 Forest
        1 Strip Mine
        7 Swamp
        1 Tainted Wood
        3 Treetop Village
        2 Wasteland
// Creatures
        3 Spiritmonger
        4 Hypnotic Specter
// Enchantments
        1 Necropotence
        4 Pernicious Deed
// Spells
        1 Vampiric Tutor
        4 Dark Ritual
        3 Call of the Herd
        1 Chainer's Edict
        1 Demonic Tutor
        4 Duress
        4 Hymn to Tourach
        1 Regrowth
        4 Sinkhole
        1 Yawgmoth's Will
// Sideboard
SB:  2 City of Solitude
SB:  2 Compost
SB:  2 Naturalize
SB:  3 Phyrexian Negator
SB:  4 Ravenous Baloth
SB:  2 Smother

It plays pretty well, but I would not run mishra's factories if I were you.  Stick with the treetop villages since you really need the colored mana in this deck.

I'm also not a fan of the phyrexian scuta, but I can't think of anything worth replacing him with right now.

If you can't afford the masticores and you want artifact creatures, the phyrexian warbeast really is a good idea.  They're by no means a replacement, but they are a solid creature that is easy to cast on a janky mana base.  Plus they won't cost you any cash to get ahold of.  I thought about running them, but I prefer to play with my CotHs.

theres nothing wrong with playing what you got and if you can't get certain cards then just play what you got. the first build looks like sui black and the second build looks like PT Funk, go check out the TMD invitational decklist post in the tourney forum and theres two PT funk decklists there that you can look at

Well, you are splashing green for three underpowered cards that have almost as good alternatives in black...

River Boa==> If you are looking for a great weenie try Carnophage, or Sarcomancy (I use niether, they just arent good enough), or if you are looking for a two-spot, try Flesh Reaver (although countersynergistic with Necropotence).

Deed==> Powder Keg, or Nev's Disk.

Regrowth==> Not needed, but can be replaced with a tutor like Cosultation.

But I dont know the reason you have for making this deck, weather it is high preformance (in that case, go Mono Black) or if it is for casual (in that case, cut the broken cards like Necropotence and Y's Will).

thx for your postings.

i thinkn splashing green is better than monoblack because the deeds are more powerful than powder kegs, more flexible and faster than disks. is that reason enough ?
