I know that a lot of people are clamoring for the restriction of spoils of the vault and chrome mox on principle alone since they are a tutor or acceleration respectively. But I honestly don't think this is neccesary.

The metagame has rapidly adjusted to these cards and decided that neither are really very viable in powered decks. chrome mox just acts as a cheap replacement for power in budget decks like rector trix while spoils is useless in all but mask

This just strongens my feelings that both 1,5 and T1 should have different B/R lists.
Spoils nor mox havent convinced the axe to hit them by shaking up the t1 environment, only reasons they would get restricted is that spoils is one mana tutor and mox is mox

They restricted the Mox Diamond, which is far less combo-riffic than the Chrome Mox (since most combo decks have little land to begin with). Um... yeah!

As for Spoils, it took them a LONG time to restrict Demonic Consultation, and this seems a bit less strong (just a bit), so we might see it for a while.

I guess we'll see in a few days...

Who doesn't feels like that, but since we aint talking about two separate list we don't have to talk about that

Since Chrome and Spoils are 2 very good cards for combo and they f*ck up T1.5 my guess is that they WILL be restricted, just for the skae of T1.5 and the prevention of a possible combo winter in T1

The first thing you need to understand is that there already is the beginning of a combo winter in type one.  It started WAY before chrome mox and spoils hit the field.  I mean, every deck nowadays needs to be able to hold up against at least long or dragon to even have a chance, and all the control decks are using combos for winning.  Eventually we'll just be flipping coins to see who wins.  

Restricting cards just for type 1.5 is really stupid.  Not because I feel that type 1.5 is bad or anything, but I'm under the impression that type one is more popular (which means Wotc cares more about it), and spoils and chrome mox allow budget decks a much better chance of almost looking good (because budget sucks balls, I should know).  Unless they give type 1.5 a separate B/R list, it'll just have to live with chrome mox and spoils of the vault.
