[23:41] <jpmeyer> oh no!
[23:41] <jpmeyer> the title was supposed to be "a stronger loving world" to keep the superhero theme going!
[23:42] <knutedit> um
[23:42] <knutedit> the problem is that your title is bad grammar

Like Steve Menendian wrote last week, Tog has completely changed around how the metagame in Type 1 needs to be viewed. This week, Knut's asked me to look at how Type 1 would change without Tog. In terms of how the metagame would be changed, it's pretty obvious. I'm going to focus on the various lessons that Tog has taught to Type 1 deckbuilders.

Just to get the obvious out of the way now: Keeper, aggro, and prison get stronger, aggro-control gets weaker, and combo stays the same.

Stupid Tog, always gotta be keeping the Prison decks down.

Oh, and about the founding fathers superheroes thing, I really have no idea what to say.  Perhaps you are retarded, but then I would be, too, because the idea actually intrigues me.

I think I said it best in the SCG forums:

But since this is TMD and we have content expectations, I'll add that the plotline of your Founding Father movies would be well-served by giant mechanical support vehicles a la Power Rangers, because superheroes are being thoroughly covered in the box office lately. With a Power Rangers motif, you could pull off including a much larger cast, with unique interactions between the artificially multiethnic cast. I can see the $$$ now!

In terms of answers, you could've mentioned Tog has an answer for just about anything in terms of board position, since it runs the greatest hoser of all: Deed.

Nice job showing why Tog is doing so well now and is the tier 1 deck.

As far as your founding father spoof, it was pretty funny.  Smile

Who would play George Washington and Ben Franklin??
