I made Coerce/Inhibit as a test card for this cycle. They are all non-friendly colored, cool effect, split cards. Some of them utilize set mechanics from different sets for cool flavor. My problem is that I can't design bad cards. Some of them may be to strong.

[card]Devastate[/card] and [card]Remedy[/card] are previously existing cards. (Prophecy and Saga, respectively.)

I wish to point out that Affliction is drastically undercosted. Sick and Tired does the exact same thing for {2}{B} and it isn't part of a split card.

Remedy could have its name changed to Wellness.

Devastate could have its name changed to Erupt.

I found different names for them. Thesaurus = good.

Now what of the actual cards?

I have a minor concern that Halt is underpowered, but Agress is pretty good for a split card, so that may have been intentional. Otherwise I think they're pretty balanced. The Madness cost of 1R on Desolate is fair, IMO.

I figured making halt into a Miscalculate would be much too strong on a split card. I could make the casting cost {U}{U} or {2}{U}. I though though that if i didn't demand a serious commitment to both colors that this card would be much to strong.

Do you think halt could be {2}{U} ?

As for the other cards. I actually thought Ponder/Desolate is rather overpowered, but i don't see it fitting into any particular deck.

Ruin/Repent is pretty cool, both halves can be usefull (but neither is blue, so its much weaker in vintage), and if its not, it cycles for white.

In terms of power, Coerce/Inhibit is probably the best card there, but the others are all pretty strong.
