Type 1 scene in Pittsburgh, PA?

It looks like I'll be moving from the Northeast to Pittsburgh at the end of the summer, which is cool since I actually like the city and my fiance grew up here and she's psyched to move back.  On the downside, I have to go from watching the Red Sox on NESN to the Pirates on local access cable and I steadfastly refuse to bump the Steelers up in my football pantheon--which will probably lead to divorce down the road.  

Of course, I'm also leaving a pretty vibrant Type 1 metagame for the great unknown.  Anyone have the 411 on how much play Type 1 gets out there?  And/or the local meta?

Edit: Yes, I did a search for Pittsburgh before posting.  While there are clearly some TMDers in the area, I'm really interested in turnouts and frequency of tournaments.

I would be interested in knowing about the T1 scene there too. I was recently accepted into CMU's graduate department of chemical engineering, so there's a good chance I'll be living in Pittsburgh next fall .

I don't know where in the city you'll be, LoA, but Hyperion, there's a nice little store in Munhall that can be reaced easily from CMU. The metagame is very weak, but I've heard talk of proxy tournaments starting there soon, and with 2 more solid players moving in, it should get alot better, and the scrub decks should get hated out.

And LoA, yes, not being a Steelers fanatic will likely lead to a divorce from a Pittsburgh woman.
