Hi,

I'm currently running this version of Legend Black:

CREATURES
4xNantuko Shade
4xPhyrexian Negator
4xHypnotic Specter
2xMasticore

DISRUPTION
4xDuress
4xHymn to Tourach
4xSinkhole

OTHER SPELLS
1xDemonic Tutor
1xDemonic Consultation
1xYawgmoth's Will
2xPowder Keg
2xChalice of the Void
4xDark Ritual

MANA
1xSol Ring
1xStrip Mine
4xWasteland
17xSwamp

SIDEBOARD
2xTormod's Crypt
1xNull Rod
1xPowder Keg
2xContagion
2xPerish
2xDiabolic Edict
2xDystopia
2xPlanar Void
1xChalice of the Void

My question is that I've always have a tendency to over-sideboarding so I was wondering if people can give me suggestions on what is the best sideboarding strategy against the current type 1 decks: Oshawa Stompy, Dragon, Tog, mirror, etc.  Basically, I would like to know what I should side in and what I should side out against each of these matchups.

Thanks.

My version of sui balck isn't to different from yours, but I had some differences. With Mud and Trinisphere running wild, along with slaver and the like, I've been maindecking alot of hate.

Instead of 2 kegs, 2 chalices, and 2 masticores, I've maindecked something like 3 null rods and 3 withered wretches.

My sideboard also reflects the change. My sideboard is currently: 2x Masticore, 4x Powder Keg, 3x Planar Void, 4x Contagion, 2x Perish

I haven't given much attention to my sui deck lately so it may need some changes.

But here's some things I've done/plan to do:

Playing Against Stompy
-3 null rod -2 negator -2 hymn
+2 perish +2 masticore +?

Dragon
Got plenty of maindeck hate already, throw in planar voids if necessary.

Tog
For some reason, I never have a problem playing against Tog. After all, Tog is a control deck and sui eats up control. But if you are worried, side in the contagions. -4-2 kills tog.

W/U Landstill
Null rods maindecked already, no burn so your fine.

R/U Landstill
Null rods maindecked already.
-2 Negator
+2 Masticore

Some thoughts on cards:

Planar Void... yes it negates your yawgmoth's will. But I never like palying will anyway. Planar void means your opponent can't play will either. Denying your own will is ok, because your denying your opponent of Squee and Welder (two most annoying goblins). Sometimes wastelands aren't enough to take out Bazaar, you might need it for a mana source or a workshop.

Chalive of the Void... Ok. So it kills decks like tendrils, but I think it's overrated. Sure, once it hits the table on the right number it spells game over, but that doesn't mean it's that good. What are you going to play chalice against? You're gonna play it against the same decks that sui was designed to disrupt (for 1 against tendrils, for 2 against decks with counterspells, etc). For those reasons, I personally, think chalice slows down the sui deck. Of course a month from now I'll probably be playing it in my sideboard or main.

I use to play 3xNull Rod and 3xWithered Wretch main deck also, but I lot of time I find Null Rods being useless first game against a lot of aggro decks and have to side them out a lot.  I think chalice has more uses than Null Rod main deck, a chalice for 0 can stop 0cc artifacts and powder keg can take care of the rest.  It's also easier to throw down a chalice for 0 first turn than to cast null rod first turn, which can sometime make a huge difference.  A chalice for 1 can stop so many cards that hurt you like lightning bolt and swords to plowshares, and can also stop blue card drawing spells like brainstorm and ancestral recall.  A chalice for 2 can stop Mana Drains, AK's, etc.  Same with Withered Wretch, if you're not facing a deck like Dragon or Tog, it's a pretty weak creature but I do have graveyard hate in the sideboard for these matchups.

What I want to know is what should my sideboarding strategy be for the different matchups with my current build.  Basically I have a tendency to over-sideboard, like against tog I'll try to put in Edicts, Contagion, Planar Void, and Tormod's Crypts, but then I'll take out too many creatures or some other stuff to try to put these cards in, which messes up the synergy of my deck.
