Can you imprint multiple sorceries/instants on [card]Panoptic Mirror[/card], and then choose one during your upkeep?

You can imprint as many cards on the Mirror as you want.

When the upkeep trigger resolves, you may chose one of them to play.

Thanks.

One more question. Can you put an X spell on the Mirror, and then, when you choose the spell, pay the extra cost? Or do you pay it when you imprint? Or can you not use X spells at all to any effect?

The value of X will 0 when played off the mirror. so you can't really use them to much effect.  (well Meteor Shower  would do 1)

Just for grins, I decided to take a dash through the Oracle and see how many X-spells will still have some effect when imprinted in the Mirror. Can you tell I'm bored at work? Roughly in order of usefulness:

Forced March will kill all tokens, morphs, and Kobolds.
Dominate will let you take control of tokens, morphs, and Kobolds.
Meteor Shower will do one damage to a target.
Meltdown will zap all Moxen and Ornithopters.
Detonate will prevent an artifact from regenerating.
Disintegrate will prevent a creature from regenerating, and RFG it if it dies.
Reshape will let you tutor for Moxen and Phyrexian Walkers.
Vitalizing Cascade will gain you three life.
Abandon Hope lets you look at your opponent's hand.
New Frontiers and Weird Harvest let you shuffle your library.
Breakthrough can be used to Mind Twist yourself.
Excise can be used to sac your own creatures.
Spell Blast will counter Black Lotus, if one is somehow cast during your upkeep while the trigger is on the stack.
Power Sink and Syncopate can counter your own spells.

Pointless, I know. Still, I was surprised how many X-spells still have some effect when X=0.

To nitpick, not all tokens have a converted mana cost of zero.  While the vast majority do, tokens that copy the characteristics of another creature will have that creature's converted mana cost.

That's one example of why I really hate copying things onto tokens. I've brought this up more than once in the FCC forum.

I know. I wasn't trying to create a comprehensive list of "things with CMC of 0", I was just mentioning the broader applications.

Actually... even if someone could somehow cast a Black Lotus on your upkeep, there is still no way you'll counter it with Spell Blast on Panoptic Mirror.

For that matter, none of the counterspells will work because the trigger would have to happen in response to you casting the spell, which will never happen due to you not having priority Sad.

Yeah, I realized that later. I was thinking that one could use Aluren+Orniothopter, but you still can't play it in time. Ertai's Meddling won't work either. Meddling can't be usefully put on the Mirror, either, since X can't equal 0 for it.
