Since the Collussi's replacement effect essentially prevents a milling death, should a single Colossus be sideboarded against dragon by most decks (even if they have no intention of casting it).

Let's say that happens and you get milled down to just the Colossus in your library.  The turn gets passed and you draw it.  Now what do you do?

The answer is 'no'. If this were effective, we'd've all been playing Serra Avatars and Legacy Weapons.

One comment before locking the thread:

In decks abusing Eureka/Show and Tell/Sneak Attack, running up to 4 Darksteel Collosi might be an option. This gives you some measure of protection against Dragon.dec, if it is only running Ambassador for the kill. As long as you can get yourself up to seven cards in hand before drawing your last Collosus, you can keep discarding and thereby never get yourself decked, as long as you can deal with the beatdown by the animated Laquatus. Alternately, if you get a fast Sneak Attack out, then you can actually win without worrying about the Ambassador or getting decked.
