Okay, so my interest in 5c was rekindled when I picked up a new toy for the format.

Now I'm looking to get some people in New England playing, so I can get some practice before going head to head with CH4IN5 at Richmond.

Anybody in the New England area play five color, or interested in playing?

Drop a line here, or shoot me a PM.  For reference, the B&R and some getting started pieces can be found here.  Abe Sargeant also wrote a pretty good SCG series entitled "Building your First Five" a while back that seems like good reading to get started.

I might be interested, but not if there was real ante involved, since in order to make a deck I might have to borrow some cards from other people that I wouldn't be able to risk losing.

I know this won't happen in a tournament, but if my opponent has Chaos Orb in his hand while I'm controlling his turn from a Mindslaver, who flips the card if I force him to play it and activate it?

Yeah, good luck.  Test against your Tea & Crumpets compatriots up there all you want... then I'll see you in Richmond for a Midwest style, Meat & Potatoes drubbing.

Just look at your football team: years of embarrassment, then we send you a UM QB and all-of-a-sudden you break all kinda records.  Rolling Eyes

You're Welcome.

I thought you were from Columbus, isn't it illegal for someone near OSU to sing the praises of a Wolverine?

Oh man, don't get me started.

I am not from Columbus... I am merely passing through on my way back to MICHIGAN!

Kowal, I am seriously looking forward to messing up the cards in your deck. With Kevin's array of markers, no artwork or text box will be safe.

Except for the ones that have already been altered. :p
