Check it out on your friendly neighborhood Starcity!

I'd love to answer any questions you have about the deck, the tournament, or anything else that comes to mind. Once again, the blue guys pull it off.

What would you recommend using to replace Kai in the maindeck? (and would you even make room for him in the sideboard?)  Also, you really liked Goblin Vandal; any thoughts on Mox Monkey in the sideboard?  I know it's almost impossible for it to take out Stax and Trinis, but it can take out multiple freebies and doesn't need to attack, etc.  Just curious.
Thanks for your time!

With the popularity of Trinisphere, I'd take out Kai for Vandals. It definitely needs more testing though. I only found the rotund Pro Tour winner to be good at sucking up opposing counterspells. Too mana-intensive for a deck that should be using all of its mana every turn.

Mox monkeys would be good, but everything they do, Null Rod does better. Shutting down Charbelchers and Mindslavers is pretty potent, especially in a little weenie deck like this.

Null rod shuts down charbelcher? I always thought it was more like a speed bump... j/k.
Since belcher tends to finish its rounds so quickly I had a chance to watch many of Hi-val's matches (and I have to say you can top deck with the best of them). It was fun watching you play and I think you have a really great build. If I'm not mistaken you've gone T8 in columbus twice now and both times had the only deck without a full set of moxes.
Anyway......Since we're on the topic of artifact removal, have you considered goblin tinker? I used to play it in my sleigh deck as an answer to a chalice for 1.  It seems like it may have an application here as well.
Also, It doesn't look like I'll be making this next tourny in columbus (finals week is a bitch), but, if you know anybody in the area that plans on going to CT for the northeast championship I'd like to go too and I'm looking for a carpool.

Against higher cc artifacts, I'd rather have Vandals or Rack and Ruins.  Against low cc artifacts, I'd rather have Gorilla Shamans.  Tinkerer seems to me to be a watered-down compromise.
