Where:  T&T Collectibles at the Hadley Mall (located on Route 9)
When:  Saturday 3/6/04 at 12, deck reg at 11
Cost and Prize Structure:  $15 a head, first place is a very nice condition emerald, second and third TBA based on attendance
Dopeness Factor:  87.4 raised to 11 (that's not as high as last time, but hot damn is it up there)

As per normal it will be a number of swiss rounds determined by attendance followed by a cut to top eight.  Ten proxies will be allowed.

NOTE:  As a test (and to provide statistics for Dr. Sylvan's info page, AND to satisfy JP Meyer's insatiable thirst for T8 decklists) we will be doing deck registration.

Yeah, people from RI who shall remain nameless complaining five is too few, coupled with the extreme short notice, made ten proxies a reality this time.  I'm thinking it probably won't happen again since most of our locals are against that many proxies.

EDIT:  Minor update.  Please read the first post completely.

Cape Cod should be making the trip.  Rob the Swordsman is now an official Massachusetts driver.  I'm sure he'd post here if he could.

I'll be there.  I also give 10-1 that Z doesn't make the 2bl Lotus tournament.  That's right.  I'm calling out the boss.  I'm still pissed about that 11 soldier beat down shit.  We'll see what happens.

I was under the impression that big Z is actually a supercomputer designed to produce Keeper lists every three months, and that he can't actually make tournaments because he doesn't have wheels.

I'm appointing Carl Winter to study this further.

I'll put cash up on Zherbus' side GI. I'll be generous and drop the odds to 3:1. So I'll put my $2 up against a 6 of Guinness, sound fair?

Oh and need I remind you of the last time we bet GI? Are you still crying from that 448 damage psychatog?

Impressive, but obviously you've never heard of Phil, my old car.  The thing was a monster, it had more tournament experience than Eastman.

Ah, but that will change. Smile

My car may be a n00b, but it's a good kind of n00b.

Can someone who's going drive out to Brandeis to pick me up? I can get back with Jeff Anand; I just need a ride to the tournament.

I just got eliminated in the semi finals. There were roughly 35 people there. Aggro was everywhere. Here's my report:

I played Hulk. My list will be up in the deck listings since we did start doing registration with this tournament.

Round 1: Someone playing O stompy
I draw a lot of cards and I win

Round 2: Someone playing O stompy
I draw a lot of cards and I just barely lose.

Round 3: Someone playing a cleric deck
He dropped a starlit sanctum turn one. His friend who was sitting next to me and recognizes me tells him he'll give him a dollar if he can beat me. I draw a lot of cards and I win.

Round 4: Someone playing Keeper
I draw a lot of cards and I win
Game 2: I side in deep anal, draw a shit ton of cards, and I win.

Round 5: Someone playing goblins
I draw a lot of cards but do not win.

Round 6:  Someone playing GAT
I draw a lot of cards and I win.

TOP EIGHT

QUARTERFINALS: Someone playing mono blue
I draw a lot of cards and I win

SEMIFINALS: Someone playing Brown/r aggro (Broodstarrunner it's called though it doesn't run broodstar)

GAME 1: I draw a lot of cards and I win.
Incidentally he had a GIANT board and a ton of stuff when I drained a juggernaught into deed for 7.

GAME 2: I draw a lot of cards and think I'm going to win. Then I don't.

GAME 3: I don't even draw any cards because he REBs my AK. I don't win.

THOUGHTS:
I like how the deck draws cards, which often times leads to winning.

sometimes you don't win though, which is bad.

PROPS:
Mike, my semifinals opponent, for being a great guy and an excellent opponent.

Charles Darwin, for inventing evolution.

SLOPS:
Ray Romano's wife on 'everybody loves' raymond'

Ray Robillard for forgetting that I invented time travel on November 12, 1955, after falling while hanging a clock.
