Alright boys, it's a go.  We're officially on for Saturday, March 13th, at 1pm, at Gem's Comics and Cards in La Mirada.  Entry fee will be $15, with $14 of each $15 going back into prize pool.  Each player may proxy up to 5 cards (must be clearly marked).  There will be a guaranteed piece of power for first (which piece is still being arranged; contact me if you have something you'd be interested in selling).  If I can't secure something by the 1st of March, my nm- signed unl Jet will go up as prize.  This is really looking like it's gonna be a beating, as I already know of 20 guys who've said they're definitely coming.  I hope to see you all there and to be able to whoop your asses when you do get there!

Alrighty, it's looking like we're gonna have a Beta Time Twister for first, and seeing as we're gonna get it at a very very decent price, they'll probably be some awesome prizes for everybody else.  Thus far, I've got a straw poll head count at ~20 definites, with anywhere from 15-40 maybes.

Overall, a great day.  34 players, nearly all the field fully powered, with some great people all around.


Highlights- First and best comes in the top4.  A guy plays, game 1, Bazaar, pitching a madness dude and a Dargon.  His opponent responds the next turn by playing City in a Bottle.  MD Tech.

The busting of the Hot and Spicy Cheezits.  Always the best.

The Team Vegan, Team Meat matchup.  The me forgetting to sideboard in the Team Vegan, Team Meat matchup.

Good times.  Jaco's gonna have all the decklists, final standings, and pictures up on his site rather soon.
