I don't have lists (other than mine,) but here's what the t8 was:

4c Tog beat Madness
3c Tog beat Miracle Gro (with Dryad and Forgotten Ancient)
3c Tog beat. TnT
GAT beat U/G Fish (with such platinum hits as 0 copies of Wild Mongrel and 0 copies of Sword of Fire and Ice)

3c Tog beat 3c Tog
GAT beat 4c Tog

GAT and 3c Tog split
4c Tog and 3c Tog split

Oh man, 4 Tog decks in the top 4.

My Tog deck that I placed 3rd with:

4 Underground Sea
4 Polluted Delta
3 Tropical Island
3 Island
1 Swamp
1 Library of Alexandria

1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Emerald
1 Black Lotus
1 Mana Crypt

3 Psychatog

4 Mana Drain
4 Force of Will
4 Brainstorm
4 Accumulated Knowledge
3 Cunning Wish
2 Intuition
2 Deep Analysis
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Time Walk
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Gush

3 Duress
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Mind Twist
1 Yawgmoth's Will

1 Pernicious Deed

Sideboard
3 Cabal Interrogator
2 Deep Analysis
2 Coffin Purge
1 Duress
1 Pernicious Deed
1 Berserk
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Oxidize
1 Blue Elemental Blast
1 Smother
1 Naturalize

I never got Interrogator in my control matchups so I didn't get any evidence either way.  BEB was completely unnecessary against Blood Moon.  I replaced Strip Mine with Gush seeing how Strip Mine is really random.

Were there tiebreakers that would make this order for the Top 8 incorrect?

1. BUG Hulk Smash
2. GAT
3. BUG Hulk Smash
4. BUGR Hulk Smash
5. Madness
6. FroGro
7. TnT
8. UG Fish

Uh, no, that's not correct man.

I can list off five that didn't have togs right now.

You can see three in the T8 listing, but then there's also myself in 10th with supergro and Snachos in 9th with Broodstarrunner.

Wait, what?  I think after the top 4, there were only a couple Tog decks for a while in the standings.

...Dave sidesteps being slapped in the head by Kowal...only to run into JP's iron fist...

Since i wasn't at the tourney, and this thread is the only current list of anything that happened, I thought you gave us a listing of 16 matchups:

Quote

4c Tog beat Madness
3c Tog beat Miracle Gro (with Dryad and Forgotten Ancient)
3c Tog beat. TnT
GAT beat U/G Fish (with such platinum hits as 0 copies of Wild Mongrel and 0 copies of Sword of Fire and Ice)

3c Tog beat 3c Tog
GAT beat 4c Tog

GAT and 3c Tog split
4c Tog and 3c Tog split

my error.

by the way, i have it on good authority (i.e., from the winner) that the finalists did NOT split the prize.

Dave.

The finalists played it out to see who would get the lotus, and who would get the walk, but with the stipulation that the winner give a ruby to the loser. Basically, a split.

What an awesome tournament.  That's a fantastic agreement that they came to as well, as they both leave with an awesome prize.

thanks for the clarification.

Ok so they played it out, but who won?

Alpha Underground Sea = $200
Alpha Black Lotus = $1000

What's with all the weirdness? I'm not trying to put anyone down, but the last thing I expected to see on a report was numerous variations of Miracle Gro (Lord of the Goats and Kowal), multi-colored Fish (Orlove), and Suicide. The Tog decks in attendance are really no suprise since there are so many prominent people speaking in favor of Tog as the format's best.
