I used to play prison following the Black Summer.   I've been out of MTG for about two years now.  I've decided to commit to Vintage with the idea of focusing on one or two budget decks.  This is primarily because I don't have the duals and big blue.  I realize that the smart thing to do would be to focus all resources into building a Keeper-esque version (Iso-Keeper), but I just don't have the guts to sink those kind of resources into it.  I've got a couple pieces of jewlery, but am unwilling to go the whole nine.  My first deck will be a focused FCG and I'll have the ability to do R/G Beatz as well.  My second deck needs to be different from the aggro archetype.  Im comfortable with prison so I'm looking to build something competitive along these lines (Parfait) without completely committing to securing all the power.  Here's my initial list:

Plains x14
1 Black Lotus
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mox Diamond
1 Lotus Petal
1 Chrome Mox
1 Sol Ring

4x Orims Chant
4x Swords to Plowshares
3x Argivian Find
4x Abeyance
2x Aura of Silence
1x Seal of Cleansing
2x Humility
1x Enlightened Tutor
1x Balance

4x Eternal Dragon
4x Isochron Scepter
4x Tithe

4x Raise the Alarm
2x Goblin Charbelcher

I'm curious to hear what others on this site have to say about playing IsoParfait in Vintage.  It must really suck in this environment as I don't see many listings for it.

I tested it a lot (as one of the people who actually made parfait work in a general enviroment back when it was playable Surprised), and the deck listed 6th here: http://www.morphling.de/coverages/top8decks.php?id=98 , is really the best you can do with it.

I would really not recommend playing it, since it's extremely hard to do well. If you want to play control, play something like Fish or Landstill, which are both fairly cheap to assemble, and a whole lot better.
