Hello Guys ! At first the decklist: 4 Force of Will 4 Mana Drain 4 Accumulated Knowledge 4 Brainstorm 3 Cunning Wish 2 Intuition 2 Deep Analysis 1 Ancestral Recall 1 Gush 3 Psychatog 2 Fire/Ice 1 Pernicious Deed 1 Gorilla Shaman 1 Demonic Tutor 1 Mind Twist 1 Yawgmoth's Will 1 Black Lotus 5 Moxen 1 Mana Crypt 1 Strip Mine 1 Library of Alexandria 4 Underground Sea 3 Tropical Island 2 Volcanic Island 4 Polluted Delta 2 Island there are only 59 cards, because I don't own a Time Walk. Here's the sideboard: 2 Pernicious Deed 1 Snuff Out 1 Smother 1 Coffin Purge 1 Fact or Fiction 1 Berserk 3 Red Elemental Blast 1 Vampiric Tutor 1 Oxidize 1 Naturalize 1 Rack and Ruin 1 Fire/Ice So, that were the lists, now here are my questions: 1. Is it viable without Time Walk ? 2. is the SB/MD correct ? Meta consits of Control, not so much I think, Aggro and Workshop-Decks.

Time Walk is one of the most important cards in the deck because it allows you to straight up win the game with Will. I wouldn't play Tog without having access to it.

@jpmeyer:
I have played one time in Dülmen without Time Walk and went 18th out of about 90 people. Will I be able to do it a second time when I play well or is the Walk to important to do it ?

Hulk isn't really viable without Walk I promise you.
Play some games with "Walked Hulk" and some games with your build against any random deck, especially versus aggro you will notice that it is so much weaker.
To your 18th place finish. Yes, i know 5-2 is not bad, but for Hulk it is not great in such a field like it was in Dülmen, maybe you just got good matchups. Sry to say that, but the Walk is so essentiel in this deck. Like JP said before, I'd never play Hulk without Time Walk anymore.

Plus time walk can be your only out vs multi Maze of Iths Basically, Time Walk lets you win through complicated situations. This is one of them, but just about any time when there's a clogged board or whatnot you often need to be able to break up the order of the turns in order to get the kill through. The presence of Time Walk can also let you kill if your opponent needs to tap out for some reason. Honestly, I would play Tog without Ancestral before I played it without Time Walk.

o.k., I understand that this deck didn't run well without the Walk. It seems that I have to buy one

You could trade the Pearl to offset part of the cost, as it's the most expendable of the power cards in Tog.
