If you find youself facing a combo meta, the Back To Basics can turn into Root Maze or Tormod's Crypt. It isn't that hard to adjust the deck to fit whatever you need.

If your meta is filled with red burn, pack in SOFI maindeck instead of Null Rod (you only tend to see red burn doing well in unpowered metas) and use BEBs where you can. Hell, Chill will slow that kind of deck down enough for you to win.
