Anyone here have art skills past stick figure drawings?  Smile

I know Freddie had some mad skill at art, I was just wondering if anyone else did. I'm not as good as Freddie, but I try. Wink

Good stuff Smile I like the panzer dragoon artwork.

I've been dabbling into some artwork lately...keep an eye out for this little "Onionman" project I'm working on.

I'm also trying to become an amateur photographer, though I haven't had much time lately. I like taking pictures of architecture and stuff like that.

Here's a shot I took at the Vancouver Public Library. Haven't cleaned it up yet (notice the date/timestamp in the bottom corner) but it's an example of the stuff I like to take a picture of.

taht picture is actually kinda amateurish...but I have some ideas for other pictures around my area. My old pics are currently scattered about so I have to find them...

I used to be pretty good when I was like, in 10th grade.  Then my teachers just started being dumb, encouraging creativity, as long as it was their definition of creativity.  I stopped doing art then and just fucked around.

High school ruled.

Any art teacher you find in high school emphasises craetivity so much more than technique that when you finally go to make something, you don't know how.

I pretty much taught myself to throw pots on a wheel and have been doing ceramics for three years, having started in high school. I don't have any pictures up, but I might take some photos soon. Definitely fun to sit behind the wheel and crank out functional art.
