Heroic Quest
UW
Enchantment
When Heroic Quest comes into play, name a Treasure artifact and shuffle your library.
Play with your hand revealed.
When you draw the named card, sacrifice Heroic Quest and choose one -- put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control; gain 10 life; or draw 3 cards.

The noble hero sets himself a goal and when he achieves it he WINS OF OUR FABULOUS PRIZES!


Diabolic Quest
BR
Enchantment
When Diabolic Quest comes into play, name a Treasure artifact.
When the named artifact is put into an opponent's graveyard from play, sacrifice Diabolic Quest, put that card into play under your control, and that player loses 5 life.

The evil warlord sets his underlings on a mission - retrieve the Crown of Sorrow, or die trying!

Instead of playing with your hand revealed, you could reveal each draw. The Heroic Quest seems awfully weak is all, even though it'd work great in Extended with 4 Enlightened Tutor.

I don't even think Diabolic Quest needs to be sacrificed. That might ruin the quest flavor, though.

I know this won't happen in a tournament, but if my opponent has Chaos Orb in his hand while I'm controlling his turn from a Mindslaver, who flips the card if I force him to play it and activate it?

It would be incredibly broken if it didn't sac itself. You could break the artifact (lose 5), gain control of it, then sacrifice it, oh look a card with that name went into an opponent's graveyard, so you lose another 5 and I get the artifact...yeah. Infinite loop. Broken.

Twenty-four hour clock. Why don't people get all excited about my innovative cards, but something like Mana Singularity gets two pages?

If you think about it, shorter threads are actually better in many cases. It means your original design doesn't need fixing.
