Grim is better than you think. It saves your null rod. You ought to put more of them in, and a Petal.

Why would you run Mox Monkey in fish?  Null Rod covers all the moxes, lotus, Sol ring and about all other fast mana.  Is it just for more mana disruption?  There would have to be an aweful lot of moxes in my meta to run Null Rods and Mox Monkeys.

I run mox monkey for the pure reason that he is a body that can eat a mox if I don't have a null-rod out.

I have never had grim be unusuable, with fish I find that between wastes/strip mine, draw spells, counters, etc...you can fill your graveyard quite easily.  He is almost always active, especially when I need him.  And the 2 damage is much better than 1 many times, though there are times when I wish I could do 1 extra point.  That is why I want to include Razorfin.

I'm thinking of going -2 Voidmage, +2 Razorfin Hunter for pure testing reasons.  I've rarely used the voidmage in cruicial points, and 9 times out of 10 i want to morph him so I don't have to play around his janky 1 toughness.

Just like Pern has already said, one Gorilla Shaman is the right number.

However, in my case, the lone Hunter is my fifth Lavamancer.

Even if Lavamancer would have the same exact clock speed, it's still a Wizard.  It doesn't affect how much damage is done but it provides me with the obvious Voidmage synergy which can be so useful.

If I were to cut the Voidmages, I would cut the 4th Lavamancer for another Hunter instantly.

If chalice gets set for 2 what are you gonna do about it? The answer is hope you have that mox monkey and eat it.

Don't forget you have enough counters to fight, AND you have stifles to stop the chalice trigger (if it's for 2).

not to mention 2-3 Rack and ruin post board. but if your list is diverse you should not be harmed too badly by chalice anyhow.

which is why i have answers to welder as 1cc, 2cc and Xcc.
