In my experiences, mtgnews has been pretty creditable as far as dispersing information about up coming sets.  (If this thread is "too early" to be posted just lock it.)  Today they released this latest card for the 5th Dawn that features the new "rumored" ability called Scry :

Tel-Jilad Justice  1G
Instant
(Green Uncommon)

Destroy target artifact.
Scry 2 (Look at the top 2 cards of your library,
put any number of them on the bottom of your library and the rest on top in
any order.)

This looks like a pretty solid card for the type 1 format.  Its a wishable oxidize that grants you the ability to re-arrangement your next two  cards.  For an extra mana you get a Sleight of Hand like effect.  Not bad tempo off destroying an artifact.

Hopefully we can see the Scry ability in other utility cards as well.  I would love to see this in conjuction with a counterspell and a remove creature from the game spell.  Thoughts?

Allow me to update this:

A new card was just discovered over at Mtgnews.com from TWO highly reliable sources.

Serum Something (cant remember)
U
Sorcery
Draw a card.
Scry 2

They thought it was an instant at first but it was not to be. It's still a VERY possible inclusion in GAT

Well it does interact quite well with brainstorm, although it's still hard to argue that it's better than sleight. If it was an instant then it would be much more interesting.

It's decent though. One of those cards that is almost good.

Eyes of the Watcher - 2U
Enchantment
Whenever you play an instant or sorcery spell, you may pay 1. If you do, Scry 2.

It kinda reminds of that old Rhystic something, it was Blue and if your opponent didn't pay 1 you drew a card...

I believe the card you are thinking of is Rhystic Study from Prophecy:

Rhystic Study - 2U
Enchantment
Whenever an opponent plays a spell, you may draw a card unless that player pays 1

which is a big upgrade over Mystic Remora from Ice Age:

Mystic Remora - U
Enchantment
Cumulative upkeep 1
Whenever an opponent plays a noncreature spell, you may draw a card unless that player pays 4

ah cumulative upkeep...

there has already been a thread on serum visions vs sleight of hand, and serum visions is better
