Saturday, May 29th there will be a Type 1 tournament at Untouchables Sports & Gaming in Mississauga.
There will be four rounds of Swiss play followed by a top-four (15 or less players) or top-eight (16 or more players) single-elimination playoff. This will be a 16K DCI sanctioned event.
The tournament entry fee is $12.00 , or $10.00 if pre-registered. Pre-registration can be done by e-mailing
john@untouchables.ca by May 22nd. You can consider yourself pre-registered only when you receive confirmation.
General registration is available in person on the event date from 10:00 to 10:45am. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 11:00am.
First place will win $100 cash. The first place prize may be exchanged for a booster box of any Type II set in stock. Additional cash prizes will be added depending on the number of players.
Participants will have to bring a Type 1 legal deck. Deck registration will be used. Please bring a completed deck list or arrive early to complete one.
Note: Prizes are based on a ten-person tournament and will be increased or decreased depending on the actual number of participants. Maximum number of 32 participants.

From East of Mississauga: Take the 401 East to the 403 and exit on Cawthra Road. Take Cawthra Road south to Burnhamthorpe Road East. From West of Mississauga: Take the 401 East to Hurontario Street (Highway 10) South. Continue on Hurontario Street and turn left onto Burnhamthorpe Road. Take Burnhamthorpe Road to Central Parkway Road. Untouchables Sports and Gaming is inside Central Parkway Mall, at this intersection. Park by the McDonald's and come into the mall.
From North of Mississauga: Take the 410 South to the 403 and exit on Cawthra Road. Take Cawthra Road south to Burnhamthorpe Road East. Turn right onto Burnhamthorpe Road East and continue to Central Parkway Road. Untouchables Sports and Gaming is inside Central Parkway Mall, at this intersection. Park by the McDonald's and come into the mall.
