Excellent new article on Tempo.

I was very impressed with how Flores' articulated the significance of tempo. I look forward to the next article in this series.

While I appreciated the nostalgic look back on my favorite Magic era (Mirage), I was kind of left hanging by this article, because the vast bulk of it didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. I guess if you'd never read the first important tempo article (the one on sideboard.com, I think by EDT, where he talked about the many and varied uses of Repulse) then this was solid gold, but it didn't really cover any new ground. I hope this article was just laying a formal groundwork for next week's, which looks to be much more interesting.

It was, however, an excellent read.

It was good, but I merged your link into the article thread. It's not like a discussion is going to add a whole lot to what Mike wrote already.
