I'm going to be working in the Marysville area and I was just wondering about the Type 1 scene in Sacramento and the surrounding areas.

I've heard that at the C&J's tournaments, people from Sacramento sometimes show up.  What stores have Type 1 tournaments?

In a month I am moving to Roseville (North of Sac) for 6 months.  I've been looking for places to play magic and the only thing I have found is:

http://www.a-1comics.com/store_info.htm

Apparently they draft a lot and run constructed tournys.  But on occasion they do run t1 tournaments.  I have no idea what the competition is like but I plan on finding out come mid july.

Adventures in Comics and Games [(916)973-9064] used to have a t1 every so often but I haven't seen any as of the last few mos. in a mailer. Games of Berkeley (I believe) and the C&J are the only "regular" Nor Cal venues I hear about although I'm sure there are probably a few more Bay Area events. Welcome to Sactown.
