That was incredible. "30 giant hornets can annihilate a colony of 30,000 bees." The filming was pretty amazing. Here is a link to the background of the documentary:

You should google up about the bee's "heat defense" against the Giant Hornet
Basically, since the Hornets can only tolerate 45' temperatures, while the bees can tolerate up to 48-50', they'll form tight balls of about 500+ bees around a single Hornet, thereby raising the temperature over the Hornet's tolerance, thus "steaming" it to death. Kind of cool adaptation there. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work (as seen in the video).
I want more videos like this.
