Well after playing Long.dec a while back and having it get raped by the B/R List update I decided to build another deck. After Regionals I acquired the rest of the cards I needed to build a cheap build of Trinistax. I'm not too sure on what to SB or even how to. I know...that's sad.Embarassed

Anyway, I know that Slavery decks are big right now and this deck seems to handle it alright. I've only played about twenty games against it but those were all without sideboarding.

Here is my current list.

Critters
4 Goblin Welder
1 Triskelion
Win
1 Karn, Silver Golem
Locks
3 Chalice of the Void
4 Sphere of Resistance
4 Tangle Wire
4 Trinisphere
4 Smokestack
Draw
2 Grafted Skullcap
3 Meditate
1 Wheel of Fortune
1 Tinker
1 Memory Jar
Mana Sources
4 Metalworker
1 Black Lotus*
1 Lotus Petal
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mana Vault
1 Sol Ring
1 Grim Monolith
1 Strip Mine
2 Wasteland
1 Tolarian Academy
4 Mishra's Workshop*
2 Mountain
2 Ancient Tomb
2 Shivan Reef
4 Volcanic Island

Sideboard
4 Red Elemental Blast
3 Tormod's Crypt
3 Powder Keg
2 Platinum Angel
2 Gorilla Shaman

I know the list is at 61 cards right now. I'm not sure which card to cut.
I'd be really appreciative of any advice.

Any suggestions?

*For Five Proxy Tournaments.

...and we got nothin'.

Thanks a bunch guys.

I played trinistax about a month ago and was very pleased with testing results. The only problem is fast aggro/FCG is tough if you don't drop the turn 1/2 CotV for 2. I personally found I liked a different configuration.

I chose not to run grafted or meditate; Grafted is to dangerous in my opinion, you'd be better off running Mind's Eye (IF anything) as a draw engine. Meditate is iffy, as its only really good if you have smoke and wire on the table. In todays t1 I don't want to be giving opponents anymore turns under almost ANY circumstances. You really want/need at least another trisk, as opposing welders mess with your day. It also helps against aggro/FCG alot. i would also add in 1 slaver, P.angel, and pentavus. The reason is you may not be a slaver deck, but that lock is just TOO powerfull not to run at least a one of.

I would lose the monolith and get up to 5 strip effects. Metalworkers will be weaker if you cannot support the 5 moxen (proxy limits), but should ultimately stay to keep pumping out mana.

Possibly look to TFK as a draw source; everyone uses it cause it is that good.

Hope this helps.

1. Slavery is the reason why Stax is dead. Slavery wrecks Stax.

2. NO MORE BUDGET WORKSHOP DECKS.
Every Workshop thread with a decklist that does not include the 5 Moxens will be closed.
