If a creature card you own would be put into a graveyard from anywhere except from play, instead put it in your hand.
So it's abuseable with Entomb/Buried Alive/Intuition (and Hermit Druid, heh), but not it's not Enduring Renewals #5-8, which drastically limits its combo potential.

There's also the interaction with any creature with cycling.  : Draw a card is really strong. It's probably not as strong as what Jebus mentioned, but still noteworthy. There's also infinite black mana with Skirk Familiar. Besides Psychatog: Phantatog, Vampire Hounds, and Skyshround Vampire all become infinitely large with this in play. With Torture Existance, none of your creatures ever stay dead. Survival of the Fittest becomes  : Search your library for a creature card, reveal that card, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library. Given the possibilities this generates, I wouldn't cry if it were costed at  {W} or, preferably  {W}. I think that this card is way too strong to be printed at  {W}. |

This needs an activation cost. If you want it completely fixed, make it require a discard to get the creature back. Otherwise, a simple mana payment should be fine.

What if the creature returned to your hand at EOT instead of immediately? That solves all those tog/mongrel/familiar combos.

If so, will they return to your hand again and if so, when? You would have to discard, but if you discard the creature, you won't get it back until the end of the next turn ("at end of turn"). |
