I know a few things, but I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to...

Go ahead and post it unless it's absolutely personal or confidential.  Otherwise, this post is gonna go bye-bye.

For those of you who dont know, Frank and Sons is a warehouse that basically sells many many things. I would get into details about the rest, but it would have nothing to do with MTG. Anyways, Frank and  Sons sells their booster packs/boxes for the wholesale price (basically the price that shopowners get it for). Fortunately, this is good for us, but WotC got pissed at us many years ago, and this time they've gotten serious. The line to them was drawn when we had the 5D packs before it was actually officially "released", not to mention selling it at the wholesale price as stated before. Just last friday, a WotC "spy" came over and started asking and interrogating Mike (if you go to FS, he's the guy that's directly the opposite side of Don - its the first shop to the right that you see when you enter the "MTG Area"). Luckily, Mike knew what he was doing and didnt allow the WotC spy to get any information. Unfortunately, this is not the most extreme thing they have done. They also now put trackers in the booster packs to see who and where the boxes are sold to. They used this because many years ago, they already began telling distributors to stop selling to FS, but the distributors sold it to FS anyways. People at FS dont quite know what to do. I was talking to Don the other day, and he said he'd probably put the boosters in a "goody" bag type thing, and sell it to customers. Of course this requires a bit of trust in Don, but who wouldnt trust him?

Yeah, I'd heard about this.  I thought it had more to do with the fact that Wizards just changed their distribution policy as seen in-

Either way, there's always been a serious shot of the MTG section being closed down at Franks.  As it is, I don't think it'll hurt TOO much, or at least not hurt the T1 players so much, as we're not the purchasers of product, and unless there's a serious curbing in Magic interest in the area, near the same number of singles will be opened.

It's Don that I feel for.  He's gonna take a decent hit on this by not being able to sell packs at the same rate he used to.  If ever there's been a straight up Magic dealer, it's Don.
