Hi all, I've been testing out this stasis deck in a somewhat roguish meta, actually I've only played against a rogue enchantress deck, and it owned me, so basicly this decklist sucks, and I thus need some major advice on what to do to it Smile

Here's the decklist:
Stasis

Life gain (4):
4 Ivory Tower

Draw (8):
4 Howling Mine
4 Rhystic Study

Utility (10):
4 Copy Artifact
4 Spellbook
2 Library of Leng

Control (12):
4 FoW
4 Stasis
4 Propaganda

Win (2):
1 Black Vise
1 Feldon's Cane

Mana (24):
4 Forsaken City
1 Sol Ring
19 Island

A few problems I've spotted myself are:
1. Howling Mine usually helps my opponent too much unless I drop stasis right after the mine.

2. Forsaken City pretty much spoils feldon's cane, and is the only way to keep stasis alive.

3. I usually don't gain life until late game, and often I don't make it to late game :/

I was considering GushStasis, but when Gush was restricted I figured it probably lost its punch, any opinions on this matter ?

Two words: God Awful.

Seriously, if they counter your Stasis, (and your only protection is 4 Force), you scoop up your cards.  You can do nothing against, say, a Psychatog deck.

Play Daze and Thwart. Ditch the cards that do nothing, like copy artifact, rhystic study, spellbook, library of leng, and propoganda. Gush is a good card, too.

your deck is no good. lack of disruption, searching and speed.
what about this one(i know i know.... it is stasis and therefore a sucker but ey try it out)
Stasis
4 stasis
4 root maze
4 daze
4 force of will
4 counterspell
4 qurion ranger
4 brainstorm
4 standstill
4 chronatog
3 stifle
4 flooded strand
4 tropical island
2 polluted delta
4 forsaken city
5 islands

u could change the rangers with swords, tropical with tundra and root mazes with kismets and maybe fit a couple of meddling mages in there.....

Mono blue version that I ran used Time Vault/Tangle Wire/Stasis Lock... With Propaganda/Energy Field/Powder Keg (not necessarily all of them) vs. Aggro, and Fow/Thwart/Daze/Foil (all of them) for protection.  Black Vise was one kill condition, another was Iron Maiden.  4 Chain of Vapors is amazing, play it after you've accumulated a lot of lands with a Stasis in play, end of opponent's turn, bounce Stasis to hand and replay it, but with a lot of lands untapped.  It was amazingly consistent back in the days of 4 Gush, but I've set it aside since then.  My suggestions would be to take out Ivory Tower, Rhystic Study, Copy Artifact, Library of Leng, and add in aforementioned cards.

Edit: Time Vault isn't exactly budget, but Chronatog will do (though it is a lot worse since it dies to creature removal).

I'd really suggest scrapping the entire deck- if you want to play prison, tell us whether you're going to play budget prison, or budget prison, since brownish prison is really the only way to go, and Workshops are the big question there. There's a number of threads all around dealing with Mud and welderMud decks- there's a budget one a few posts up. But right now, you have a bad prison deck in blue- so, do you want make a blue deck, or do you want to make a prison deck?

I think we'll have to settle this the MAN'S way.

Bring out the Foxy Boxing Gloves.
