I do...I really do.

I recently played Stasis to a top 8 in Hadley and a Donate/Forbidden Crypt/Tormod's Crypt Deck with a transformational EBA Sideboard at Gamemaster...so I ask

What Rogue Deck SHould I Play Next?

Please Post Your Votes Here And I May Play It At The Next Hadley.

I also love playing Rogue decks at trimestrial unsanctionned tourney I have here in Paris, since there is nothing worth winning (first price is something like 10 boosters). Since they accept an unlimited amount of proxies, I can play whatever I want.

So far we had 2 tourneys of that kind. The first time I ran a 243 cards Battle of Wits decks. I ended up 4-2. The second time I ran a commons only highlander deck. OK, I ended up low Wink

We have the third edition next week end. I'll play the following build of ReapLace.

// ROOFLECOPTER.DEC
        1 Island
        1 Library of Alexandria
        3 Volcanic Island
        4 Polluted Delta
        4 Tropical Island
        4 Underground Sea
        1 Black Lotus
        1 Mox Emerald
        1 Mox Jet
        1 Mox Ruby
        1 Mox Sapphire
        1 Sol Ring
        1 Ancestral Recall
        1 Fact or Fiction
        2 Deathlace
        3 Cunning Wish
        3 Intuition
        3 Prismatic Lace
        3 Reap
        4 Accumulated Knowledge
        4 Brainstorm
        4 Force of Will
        4 Mana Drain
        1 Demonic Tutor
        1 Regrowth
        1 Time Walk
        2 Duress
SB:  1 Blue Elemental Blast
SB:  1 Ebony Charm
SB:  1 Naturalize
SB:  3 Moment's Peace
SB:  1 Prismatic Lace
SB:  1 Vampiric Tutor
SB:  1 Coffin Purge
SB:  1 Rack and Ruin
SB:  1 Oxidize
SB:  2 Red Elemental Blast
SB:  1 Reap
SB:  1 Duress

PandeBurst is also a cool deck. Thoughtlash-Donate is nice too.

While working on a deck, I also considered a Leveler - Endless Whispers combo deck. The tech was to get Endless Whispers out, then cast Leveler and Oxidize it in the same turn. It would go under opponent's control at EOT, and he'll lose at his draw step. Worst combo ever Very Happy

Definately play SKULL by dicemanx and bebe.  It's like what Matt posted (or may even be the same thing, I didn't actually check closely enough.  If it is, consider me vote #2)

Matt's deck runs neither Oath nor Sneak Attack. They are otherwise quite similar.

SKULL is a great deck but it is not mine. It's Peter's. I was just one of its first unhappy victims playing a monobrown deck. Definately worth a look.

There is a little known rogue deck that few of us old time BDers worked on. It plays out a little a cross between Show and Tell and Skull. it either kicks ass or folds quickly ...

 BUTTER CUTTER
- Puschkin, Sylvester, BeBe

some utility - 8
       4 Duress
       2 Living Wish
       1 Tainted Pact
       1 Demonic Tutor

fat - 12
       4 Thundermare
       4 Rushwood Elemental
       4 Thresher Beast

combo parts - 14
       4 Vine Dryad
       4 Skyshroud Cutter
       3 Metamorphosis
       3 Burnt Offering

mana - 28
       4 Llanowar Wastes
       4 Bayou
       4 City of Brass
       3 Land Grant
       1 Lotus Petal
       1 Mana Crypt
       1 Mox Sapphire
       1 Mox Ruby
       1 Mox Pearl
       1 Mox Jet
       1 Mox Emerald
       1 Black Lotus
       1 Sol Ring
       4 Dark Ritual

      sb: play with it ...
    Multani, Maro Sorcerer
    Spiritmonger
    Aboroth
    Megatherium

Okay ... it's pretty strange but when it works ...

Thanks for all your help.  I came really close to playing skull.dec or browse/digger(that's a blast from the past huh!)

The rogue deck I finally settled in on was a torn apart landstill with 4 copies of turf wound, 4 copies of solfatara, 4 copies of recall(not the ancestral kind), and a main deck interdict.  I went 2-3!
It was a blast to play.

Thanks again for all your wonderful ideas...I will keep them in mind for the future.
