I'm sorry Jebus but I disagree. As stated in the rules,
502.30.Ruling.4 - Spell copies can be countered and otherwise affected just like any other spell. [D'Angelo 2003/04/30].
That means that you can counter individual storm copies and that CotV
DOES counter all copies of it as well. As a side note, stifling the storm ability will counter all the copies but will do nothing to the "original".

You are wrong.
Storm copies can be countered just like any other spell. I never said they couldn't.
However, since they were not
played, the copies will not trigger CotV, so Chalice will not counter them.
