The purpose of this thread is for people to get an idea of the number and quality of players going to this event. So talk it up and let's start a head count for this event. I'm sure most of the Hardcore C&J guys will be there but I'd like to hear for sure. I just met the owner yesterday and I have to say he's a nice guy. Included here is info from Jeff's thread. Speak up and be counted! On July 24th at 1:00 pm (12:30 pm Registration) we will have a Type 1 Tournament for a Library of Alexandria for 1st Place and a Chains of Mephistopheles for second, 3rd Place will get a Foil (x4) Play set of DCI Serum Visions. Prizes up to 6th place will be given out. These prizes are based on 25 Min attendance. Library will be given out with 15 Min attendance.
Admission is $15.00. 5 proxies from any set are allowed but must be marked with casting cost and any relevant text. All proxies will be checked prior to Tournament and all decks will require a deck list along with your sideboards. Jeff Ferreira Owner of,

Hey Raziel, I'm definately going to that on account that Dublin is practically 10 miliseconds away from where I live. I'm also planning to bring a couple of friends if they can come on that date.

@pox_reborn Great! I was hoping people would speak up. Anyone know the Type 1.5 people at Franks? I think that's the name of the shop in Pleasanton. Maybe they would like to play. Spread the word if you do.

Raziel, Very funny that you mention the store in pleasanton. Since I live there! I'm a pretty well known regular there and would be glad to spread the word there at Franks's shop called Sports Cards and Chocolate (Kinda weird I know) Hopefully this tournament will increase our interest in 1 and 1.5 among our regulars here again. Our 1.5 scene has been getting the shaft lately with only 1 tournament a month (Used to be 3 times a month)

Hi all, I have had a few people message me and ask what kind of turnouts we get for our Tournaments. Fridays we average about 16 to 20 for FNM Booster Draft. Type 1 on Saturdays is 6 to 12 usually and Type 2 on saturday is 10 to 16 roughly. We are in only our second month of Santioned Type 1 and Type 2 and it seems to be getting stronger with new faces poping up every week, I also have to send a big shout out to Tom for starting this tread. Hope to see you there and good luck to all who enter

I can send out notice to the Pleasanton play group - I usually act as the responsible adult to keep people informed. Not too sure how many would be interested in Type 1, but a few might. I'm maybe 5 minutes away. I'm in the process of packing up to move to Singapore for a few years, but I have most of the cards to make a decent Type 1 deck. And a decent Vintage rating from playing Type 1.5 for a long time <grin>.
I recommend Pleasanton Sportscards for Type 1.5 on Sundays (first Sunday is draft). Frank (the owner) has been supporting Vintage tournaments for years and years and years. Interest in Type 1.5 is at a low point right now, but it happens like that sometimes and snaps back after a while. Santioned tournaments that gives out Vintage points.
The sign says "Sportscards and Chocolates" but it is sort of an inside joke because he hasn't sold chocolates for years.
I was glad to see another store open up. Between the two stores (maybe 10 minutes apart), they're drawing 40 people or so every Friday night. Good to develop the play base in the area even further.
