was just wondering how on earth do I go about getting an Avatar? I tried to get an Avatar off some pictures on the internet but I wasn't able to use them because they were too big. I tried to shrink them down to size but it still wouldn't work. I want to get a picture of Charles Manson as my avatar. Help me please!

I tryed to download one of the images as an avatar and it said it needed to be 12 kbs or less. How do I shrink the image down to a size that I can use? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You should try saving it as a different file type- if the one you save to your computer is greater than 12K in size, it's probably a file format that can be saved in a different format to reduce size (in Kilobytes). After you've done that (or before, it actually doesn't matter) you can go to the Image tab, and select "Stretch/Skew", assuming you're using MS paint. Then you should be good to go.

I managed to get around the file size part but now I'm stuck on the length and width part. It keeps telling me it can't be any more than 60 pixels high and 60 pixels long. How do I shrink the picture down to size without distorting the picture? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Jacob, d'ya realise you gave that dude an avatar with a swastika on it? Perhaps the symbol has lost some of its shock value over there, but it most certainly hasn't over here. I can't say I like this very much.
