I'm pretty new here to these forums.  Most people in the bay area know me, but for those of you who dont my name is Gim Chu, but everyone calls me DUCK.  I played landstill at this past saturday's library tounament and finished out 4-1.  I failed to make top four because of my friend UnstableCornbread's concession from Devin,  I cant be too mad atleast my friend made top four.  Here was my decklist:

Spells:
4 Mana Drain
4 FoW
4 Fire/Ice
4 Standstill
4 Stifle
4 Nevinyrral's Disk
3 Swords to Plowshares
2 Decree of Justice
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Time Walk
1 Balance

Lands:
4 Tundra
4 Volcanic Island
4 Flooded Strand
4 Mishra's Factory
4 Faerie Conclave
4 Wasteland
1 Stripmine
1 Polluted Delta
1 Plateau
1 Library of Alexandria

Sideboard:
3 Rack and Ruin
3 Challice of the Void
2 REB
2 BEB
2 Tormod's Crypt
2 FTK
1 Swords to Plowshare

The deck seemed to be quite consistant all day long.  My drains, FoWs, and Stifles kept enough control to let my manlands get by for the win. The disks came through for me in the few tight spots that I needed them.
I won all of my matches 2-0 except to Ken in round two, who got me with the NUTS draw TWICE, I guess I can't beat that.

I would go over all my matches, but they weren't very interesting, just a bunch of control and some man lands getting in there for two at a time.

Props:
-Christian for crushing Bryan  to take it all.(atleast one of us won)
-Ken for know how to draw the NUTS.......TWICE!!!!

Slops:
-Bryan(AKA TheLegendOfSuckingAtMagic) for not knowing how to
 sideboard.
-Bryan(AKA TheLegendOfSuckingAtMagic) for sucking at Magic.
-Devin for recruiting and then fetching.

Ducky - At least tell us what decks you faced. At the very least I would like to know how the match between you and Ken went, since that was your only loss. Also how did those Decree of Justice work for you? Can't say I've seen them in Landstill, but it's not a deck I always follow. I can see some advantages to White in the deck. Pretty sexy decklist you have there big guy.

Here were my five matchups:

Round 1:Dragon(?)
Round 2:SNACKS(ken)
Round 3:Sly(Jeff E.)
Round 4:Slaver(Don)
Round 5:SlapJack(LotusHead)

As far as Ken's match it was stupid.  Ken got a turn one trinisphere to resolve turn one both games.  Game one it was followed by crucible with a strip for the lock.  Game two he followed with smokestack then crucible for another lock.

The decrees were pretty good to me all day, it was always nice to sneak in a few more threats with a standstill on the board.  I also hard casted it once, following a mana drain.

you won this match up? in my limited playtesting versus my pet hamster, it easily 60/40 in favor of slapjack. maybe even better if i didn't make play errors and my hamster top deck so well...
