WOW!!!! We got some smart people on TMD...I took the SATs once (~1300) and the ACTs once (29) and I thought I did well. I scored nearly perfect on my math sections (like any good asian should), but fucked up my verbal sections (and in the case of ACTs, the science section). With that score, I managed to get accepted to 5 out of the 6 schools I applied to (I h8 Yale!!!) and ended up going to Colorado School Of Mines because they offered me a scholarship.

Right now I'm gettin' ready to take the MCATs. I'm aiming for a 30 or so, so I guess it won't be too hard.

Anyways, I feel like a dumbass. After reading this thread, it seems like everyone can get above a 1400 (on the SATs) without much effort Sad

My school focused on teaching for standardized tests and not much else really. For instance, my physics class in 11th grade just did AP and SATII problems all period every day. I did well on them, but I don't know that I learned anything really.

SATs
1560 (780M 780V)

SAT IIs
Math2C: 770
Physics: 790
Chem: 790
Writing: 720

APs
Physics B: 5
Calc BC: 5
US History: 5
English Lit: 4
English Writing: 4

Given that i was applying everywhere as an engineer I don't really know why I took history or english APs since there was no prospect of getting any credit.
