This week at C and J's the metagame was very strong as all the tier 1 decks were present. This weeks attendance was roughly 20-25, with mostly powered players present. People at attendance were: Zhalfirin, Thelegendofhomoerotics, Lotushead, Unstablecornbread and Fishhead. The decks to beat were: Dragon, TNT, TurboLand, U/G madness, U/R fish and 2 black decks, 1 I think was void.

The winner this week was TheLegendofHomoErotics AKA Brian playing Dragon

His Decklist consisted of:
4 bazaar of baghdad
3 necromancy
2 dance of the dead
3 animate deads
3 compulsion
4 intuition
4 Force of Will
1 ancestral recall
1 time walk
1 demonic tutor
1 vampiric tutor
3 duress
1 ambassador laquatus
1 shivan hellkite
4 squee goblin nabob
4 world gorger dragon
4 polluted deltas
3 underground seas
1 bayou
1 volcanic
1 tropical
1 swamp
2 gemstone mine
1 mox jet
1 mox sapphire
1 mox emerald
1 mox ruby
1 mox pearl
1 black lotus
1 mana crypt

Round 1: He totally crushes Fish, the game consisted of him killing his opponent with turn 1 kill game 1 and game 2, 3 verdant forces came over for the win.

Round 2: He went head on with lotushead's slapjack. Game 1 Lotushead got a turn 2 kill with his salvager combo. The Legend comes back game 2 with a turn 4 kill with many stifles in hand to slow lotusheads mana base by stopping 3 of his fetches.  Game 3: both players kept crappy hand as lotus head has the salvager in play with no white mana to recover his lotus. In the end Dragon combos off as Lotusheads aether spellbomb tech is thwarted by a stifle.

Round 3: he plays Frozen poop combo? He murders his opponent...

Round 4: He played turbo land , Dragon combos off turn 4 after both players mulligan down to 5. Game 2 Dragon gets an insane hand and comboes off quickly. MVP Bazaar and Intuition in response to EOTC of the JAr effect.

Round 5: U/G madness Thelegend mulls down to 6 and duress's his opponent and passes. Next turn the Legend drops bazaar, bazaars into combo with Fow Back up!!!! Game 2, 2 verdant forces greet U/G
 madness and say goodnight.

Dragon's strengths: Randomly owning turn 1 or 2. 3 stifles and 3 Verdants = good tech versus most metagames. Perhaps maindecking xantids may be better in a fish heavy metagame.

Dragon's weakness's: Drawing non-nazaar hands and having a bunch of animates in hand. The need to aggressively mulligan. Random stifles owning dragon.

Props: To TheLegendOfHomoErotics for coming out and demenstrating how to correctly refer to himself in the third person for the entirety of this post

Slops: To the non-believers of TheLegendOfHomoErotics's skill.........

I'm going to make a stab in the dark and say you are (in fact!) Thelegendofhomoerotics.

Moving on....

How is that mana base working? It looks kinda shaky at a glance (UBrg?) with the mulitple one ofs. Is the Helkite really strong enough when weighing it against having to add red to the deck?

Do you have a sideboard for this, and if so, how many verdant forces are running? If you are running verdants, care to explain the choice of Dance over Animate? I know this has been debated before, but I was under the impression that Animate dead was stronger due to not having the 1B untap cost.

Where are the Lim Dul's Vaults or the Xantid Swarms? These both are pretty powerful cards that really shine in dragon.

EDIT: Just noticed in the report you mentioned Verdants multiple times; it would just be easier to list a SB though.

Reading this great tournament report, I think the only 'slops' that are due are to 'TheLegendOfHomoErotics' for
A) constantly referring to himself in the third person,
B) giving himself 'Props,'
C) the total lack of correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar, and
D) coming back to TMD and registering different screen names to prop up your own ego and circumvent your imminent banning for acting like a tool.

At least you're a LegendInYourOwnMind, you two-bit assclown. Mods, I'll take a verbal warning for that, thank you very much.

TheLegendOfHomoErotics has returned, I will refrain for the time being from making any statements about any kind of sexual preference he may or may not have. However Dr.B is a very bad MUP, considering that your first name is Brian...

Brian - Posting like this only confirms that you are an idiot. You're burning bridges here and at C&J. Tom

Hmm... where to start. Having only briefly met Legend at the Who's on first Library tournament I can't attest to the nature of his character just yet.(I was the Groatog guy) Have some nitpicking with your report though.

Manabase seems rather icky with it being 4 colors. Shivan Helkite has always seemed unnecessary when I played dragon before. The reason is You open yourself to hate that that could be avoided. One of u/b dragon's strengths is the minalmal nonbasics that are hateable. Every other time wastes go towards bazaar's so the basic colors still remain. I would cut the red and stick with u/b/g. Besides, Eternal Witness should handle the other hate whether it's damping matrix or Gaea's blessing and your opponent will now be totally bewildered.

Did you even run a sideboard? That might help give more justification for a red splash. You don't mention sideboard cards in any of your matches. It seems like you were to busy "Randomly Owning turn 1 through 3."

One last thing. That night didn't seem to have very many competative decks. Turboland is outdated,  and U/r fish was the only tier 1 there. (Maybe TNT is tier 1 workshop aggro but I get all the prison names mixed up so I'm not sure if this is the survival one or not.)

Might seem pessimistic but it all depends on how you view it.

Hell, I've never met the clown, and this is the first post of his I've ever seen, but I can attest to "the nature of his character."

Simply put, he's a fucking douchebag.

You were banned for a reason. You're banned again for the same reason. Don't come back.
