Just throwing this up for one of my co-workers. This is not an OtE Event.

Type 1 Magic The Gathering Tourney
Five card proxy. First prize is a Library of Alexandria. Minimum eight players, maximum thirty. Additional prizes possible, depending upon turnout. $15 per person. Deck registration at 9:00 AM, tourney start at 10:00 AM. Hold your spot by registering in advance at the store, or by calling with credit card information.

I got second. QnD report follows.

Rnd 1: WW
He plays Kjeldoran Outpost, and I realize Sundering Titan blows, so I get Platts and protect it. Game two I make him strip his own lands.

Rnd 2: FCG
I duress his Chrome and it gives me enough time to win. Game two I weld in Platts and then take his turn a few times.

Rnd 3: ID with mirror

Rnd 4: Keeper
50 minute game, I get raped by LoA for 11 turns, plus ancestral and scrying for 2. Then I cast Balance for him, and wish for his plow to plow his angel.

Rnd 5: ID with TPS

t8: TPS
Game one he gets a shitty desire, but still has a time spiral in hand to make me lose. Game two I get platts lock on him. Game three I take his turn, he tutors for will, wills, tutors for bargain, and draws 20 cards.

t4: Workshops
I get welder supremecy. Then I do it again.

finals: Fish
I crush him game one. He gets third turn crucible with force backup to my shitty hand, then he topdecks strip mine for my islands. Then he does it again, with Force AND ReB backup. Both games he had shaman too. Suxx0r.

I played the most standard of standard builds of Control Slaver, Rich Shay style.
