Hallo all. I am planning a Proxy tourney for an Alpha Timetwister I just Recently Aquired. What I am looking to Find out is-
--How many Proxies? 5? 10? $10 and pay for each proxy? --What date is good for everyone? I have had diverse attendance dues to dates. --Which location? For a sunday tournament I have access to 2 different stores (DH or BBRI), whereas for a saterday tournament I will have to Rent the Space From Disposible Heroes.
I would also like some kinda estimate of how many ppl can show up for what date. pretty much any sunday is good For BBRI, but we only have so much room. DH has more room, but has a busier schedule.
Thanx to all for Replies.

I can't say I'd be able to come since you didn't even give a ballpark date (the month would have been enough), but it would be cool to try out 5 proxies for $10 entry, with $1 for each additional proxy. This way if you got a mediocre attendance of ~30 people you still wouldn't stand to lose anything if none of them even needed additional proxies. Are you planning this tournament for the next few weekends, or waiting until everyone's settled in at school? Any word on additional prize support?

it is looking like mid september, and a secondary prize, if attendance is what i want, will be a Mishras workshop. i would need 40 players to pull this off (at the $10 fee). if i got less than 30 players, i would be keeping the twister and first place would be more than likely, a box or 2. I would run at least 4 side drafts during the day, to allow players to get more prizes. Also, as with EVERY Doomhed Proxy Bash, there will be $5 (plus tax) pizzas, and door prizes EVERY round until the top 8(or 4), prizes for tope 8 (or 4), and discounts for bringing new players.
so now for the questions. Sat or sunday? if sunday, BBRI or DH? which september weekend is good for ppl?

Don't hold it on 9/11, cause that's waterbury, and you should avoid Kl0wn/Kowals weekend, too. Maybe the 18th?

Will try to verify the 18th for a date. If not, it would be early October. Either way, the Twister will be guaranteed as the prize.
