I'll try and make this one if possible.  My new job will probably not allow it, but here's to hoping.  Wizard's Duel always manages a good crowd for type 1.  I'm excited about the new set so I'll actually want packs for a change.  I'll be looking forward to more details.

Look, I hate to be whiner, but is there anyway we can move back the start time? 1:00 is so late, it makes it difficult for those of us with significant others to finish.  The Whiz tournament two weeks ago started at 10:00am and plenty of people finished and we got in five rounds.  Maybe not that early but something earlier would be cool.  Either way, I will at least be there for some face time with fellow TMDers.  Thanks for the info and running the tournament.

Thanks for trying.   I will likely be there, even if I can't stay the whole time.

What part of the prize pool is guaranteed?  I ran into a problem this past weekend where two moxen were advertised, and only one was given away even though the Announcement said "first and second are a mox, the rest is based on attendance."

So yeah- What's the deal here?

Just got home from this. Mike Lydon (Meddling Mage) won with Control Slaver. I lost to him in the finals. Jacob Orlove took WTF to third place. Around 36 people showed up.

The metagame was filled with Control Slaver and Worse than Fish. Except for the fact that the store does not allow IDs and concessions, it was a  fun time. Congrats Mike, you played that match very well.
