Considering Champions of Kamigawa takes place in an oriental world, I wanted to create some cards with a strong oriental flavour. I've always be admirative for the Chinese work, especially some Emperor tomb that is surrounded by hundreds of warriors statues. I'm sorry, I can't remember the name but that monument is really beautiful. The statues represent the spirit of the soldiers who died serving the Emperor, and I wanted to mirror that thing. This leads me to the following card :

Legendary Creature - Human Samurai (R)
1WB
Whenever a non Wall creature would be put in your graveyard from play, instead put a "Destiny" counter on it. Each creature with a "Destiny" counter on it is a Wall in addition to its other creature types.
When ~this~ leaves play, remove all creatures with a "Destiny" counter from the game.

Basically, the dead creatures are turned into statues that keep serving their master. The card is black for ovbious reasons, and I want to make it white too to reflect the spirit of the chinese warriors that were said to keep fighting for their cause after their death. The "Destiny" creatures are removed as the spirit of the dead soldiers should vanish when the lord dies.
The first version was an Enchantment that afected both players, but I find it much cooler as a Creature.
