4-1 with Zoo @ C&J Collectables, WTF!?!?!

Well, back in the day i used to be registered on this site as LURKINGEVIL, but then i was possesed, and the evil demon inside of me sold all my cards, including power -shiver-. I recently started playin t-2, but that got boring real fast, so i came back to the t-1 scene. Before i stopped playing last year, i played an unpowered r/g zoo deck that had surprising results around C&J's, but when i added power (r/g moxes, lotus), it jinxed the deck and it started to lose. Then i lost interest in the game... but like heroin, it came back. So on 9/16 i gave the old deck a test play at the tournament.

round 1 (Rod with random reanimator)

Its shit like this that scares me, randomness. Total rogue reanimator build. These types of decks usually own me, and this deck was no exception. I get slaughtered both games by living hive, wtf!?! But Rod was a cool cat that let me win 2-0 since he had to leave, which was toally fine with me.

round 2 (Jeff with Slapjack)

Ive played against jeff quite a few times, so i knew how his deck worked. Game one, mox monkey was the MVP and destroyed some pretty jewelry, leaving jeff to take damage with city of ass, while i beat his brains our with kird apes and mongeese. Game 2, Jeff seemed more concerned about searching for artifact disruption then getting the combo out, even though my only artifacts were the 2 null rods i sided in, which he seemed very afraid of. I didnt draw any null rods, but i drew enough burn and rancored beats to win game 2.

round 3 (Dennis with Sligh)

I was looking forward to this matchup all night. The first game, i was stupid and didnt keep mana open to kill ball lightnings, so he got 2 in i believe, along with burn to the face, i drew a lot of lands. Game 2 i draw hidden gibbons 2nd turn which prevents dennis from casting his burn spells, then when he burnt one of my creatures, he 3-for-1'ed my gibbons with fireblast, this sorta made me happy. Then he drew nothing as untargettables one me the game. Game 3, he draws nothing, i draw many creatures and burn back-up for the win.

round 4 (Webster with stax -i think-)

I never look forward to playing Web cuz he used to always kick my ass. Game one, 2nd turn trinisphere owns me along with the masticore from 5th dawn and sundering titan. 2nd game i bring him down to one with unblockable river boa, he wipes the board with smokestack and sundering titan, im still at 12, with bolt in hand. Its my turn to draw, i top deck a landgrant. In response to the landgrant web thirsts and rivers a plat angel into play with welder, lukcy bastard.

round 5 (Gary with random white weenie)

I didnt think gary couldve possibly made it to 3-1 with such a deck, but i guess he did. Game one, we beat eachother down with weenies until we r at 5, i rid of his creatures by attacking and blocking, until he ran out. Then i started drawing creatures, and beat his face in. Game 2, i burn him and out race him with rancored creatures. Garys always a fun opponent.

Right after that round, my mom came to pick me up. I thought the tournament was a success, considering i havent played serious t-1 in about a year. I thought it would be good to come back with zoo again since theres a lot of mono blue and fish running around at c-js, along with randomness from little kids and strangers.

BTW, did anyone catch what my standing was, or the standings in general? Comment please?
