Breath of Quaxolichi Sorcery 1B Breath of Quaxolichi deals X damage to target creature or player and you gain X life, where X is the number of poison counters you have.
Poisonous breath! It could remove the poison counters as well as part of the effect but would want a mana cost increase if that was the case.

I like it. I see you're following my convention and leaving black to manipulate/utilize poison counters. This is a very nice card. My only question is this: Who is Quazolichi. I don't mind you adding to the broader flavour of the set, but share it so the rest of us can take advantage of it. After you post it, I'm going to create a thread where I'll summarize the characters we've got so far.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

Well, I don't know who it is, just some name I made up. The Aztecs had deities of the Sun, the Moon, the Earth, the Rain, and for other planets and stars. Do we want to steal straight from that or what?

No we don't, but while I liek your name, it sounds a bit too much like the prime deity I mande up. So either call it Quiacatl's, or change the name alltogether.
Though I do like the -xolichi ending. It's probably just the 'Q'. Why not make it Tuaxolichi, for example? Nice card, by the way.

I know I praised this before, but I'm going to revise my opinion and suggest that this be changed to red. In line with the idea that red punishes your opponent for giving your poison counters, I think this belongs there. Instead of a life drain effect, it ought to be a damage effect that can affect creatures as well. May I also suggest the name "Horzatl's Vengeance"

This is pretty cool but the "poison breath" thing would be AWESOME. Something like "You lose X poison counters, drain opponent for X".

if you were losing poison + gaining life, that would probably be a XX spell.
