With the decline of null rod I think the following deck might be able to become a contender in the current vintage environment.  This deck has had alot of sucess in Minnnesota, winning three power tournaments and one at Nationals.

Menno Rieff is the original creator of this deck,  I merely modified it around four months ago.

   Aggro-Modular By JesseRiver:
4- Tangle Wire
3- Sphere of Resistance
3- Crucible of Worlds
1- Memory Jar
2- Enginered Explosives/Powder Keg
3- Skullclamp
4- Arcbound Crusher
4- Arcbound Ravager
4- Metalworker
4- Myr Retriver
2- Triskelion
7- SoLoMoxen
1- Mana Crypt
1- mana Vault
4- Mishra's Workshop
4- Ancient Tomb
4- Wasteland
3- City of Traitors
1- Strip mine
1- Tolarion Academy

SB//
4- Trinisphere
3- Razormane masticore
4- Tormod's Crypt
4- Chalice of the void

The main problems this deck faces are consistency and null rod.
The myr retrivers are currently the most debated slot in the deck, any suggestions?

Playing this deck comes down to knowing your plan for each matchup.

Against workshop decks keep welder off the table and beat down with crusher.

Against 4cc play the combo deck deck, drawing cards with clamp and winning with ravager.

Against combo drop a crusher and then try to beat down while stalling with lock componenets.

Spalashing a color will disrupt the mana base and kind of takes away from the point of the deck.  The mana base is this decks strentgh and playing a threat on turn one is essential.

Thanks in advance

Seriously, people, card choice explanations. Single-angle matchup explanations need elaboration.[/color]
