GerryMander's Rain of Trees thread reminded me of a card I created a while back that I shelved because people think the untap mechanic from the Urza block is broken. It can and has been abused, yes, but is it anymore broken than, say, Storm? I hate it when WotC says that a mechanic or a card was a "mistake".
Druid's Chant (Needs a new name)

Sorcery
Reveal the top two cards of your library, put into play tapped all land cards revealed this way, and remove the rest from the game. Untap up to three lands.
You can untap the lands you tapped to play the spell or the lands you put into play tapped. If this only allowed you to untap basic lands, would it "fix" the mechanic?

Why did you change it from Druid's Chant? That seemed like a much better name than "Living Spell."
If Druid's Chant just won't work, how about "Gaea's Anthem"?
