There's some things that aren't working as I want them to, but the design still looks good and you can do what you need to. I'm going to convert both 'archive' pages to the new format as well. If there are any errors please EMAIL me (don't post please) and I'll remedy them.
Also, a huge thanks to Bram for basically doing the design and logo!

I definitely like the header. Nice work.
I may just be the way i'm looking at it, but there doesn't seem to be as much contrast using different shades of gray vs. different shades of blue.
Oh yeah, and it was kinda cool having a blue background with the blue mana drain pic in the corner.

I think the text size is a bit small though, the old layout was definately more readable. However, I'm a simplicity-freak by nature.

I'll chime in about the "D"...it really needs to close more to look good.
Also, the "home" link doesn't seem to work (I'll email you as well since you asked) - click on the "articles and primers" and you go to that new page, but then click on "home" doesn't do anything, you have to edit the url or hit the back button.

Wow! What a surprise! I wasn't completely awake when I opened the page and it threw me off for a second. It's much nicer than the old front page. Two things:
- we miss the jellyfish
- it's maybe a little dark

Whilst I appreciate the hard work that has gone into it, grey on grey and a TMC logo don't float my boat. Can't we have our beloved mana-drainer somewhere? That D certainly needs closing. I would suggest a Blue page with Black highlights and only a few pixels of Red, Green and White respectively.
