Sun Ray/Moon Beam (aztec set)

This is a card designed for the RW sun worshipping side of the Aztec set.

Sun Ray deals three damage to target creature and you gain 4 life.

I was originally thinking 3 damage and 3 life, but lifegain sort of sucks, so I wanted to make this a bit better.

Target player gets two poison counters, and you may return a creature card to your hand.

Seeing as the poison mechanic is both black and green, I wanted to add a second ability that was also black and green, to keep the flavour.

The first card is black, and the second is half blue. I think you need to choose slightly more on-color abilities. Also, when a card does two things, it generally works better if those two are somehow connected.

Omg I am stupid..... I meant it to be return a creature card from your graveyard to your hand. Also, I don't think that the first ability is purely black, as has been discussed, black and green share poison. I was also hoping that the flavour text could link the two abilities together.

I meant that the sun ray was doing something that black cards usually do: "draining" a creature, ie damage + lifegain.

Returning a creature from the graveyard makes a whole lot more sense. The flavor just needs work.
