hello, I'm Philippe Mineau and I'm a new member in this forum but I play mtg since a lot of years.

I create the 2 color aggro a few time ago when I was playing U/r fish. I was sure that I could do something good with river boa and crap like that. The deck is based to beat powered decks, a little like fish but the 2ca is also good against fish. It attack the mana base, counter key spells and win with crap like cloud of faerie, river boa and spiketail and mishra factory

Here's my list:

mana source

4x wasteland
1x strip mine
4xmishra's factory
4x rishadan port
4x tropical island
4x flooded strand
2x island
1x forest
1x mox saphirre

creature

4x spiketail hatchling
4x cloud of faerie
4x river boa

counter/contro

4x force of will
2x daze
1x misdirection

broken

1x time walk
3x crucible of worlds
3x null rod

Draw engine

1x ancestrall recall
4x standstill
4x curiosity

It works well and I'm waiting for coucils and I'm open to any kind of commentary.

thanx a lot,
  Philippe Mineau

Welcome to the Drain. Unfortunately this will probably be locked for lack of content, but I'll help you as best I can. Please read the rules here.

The best advice I can give is to search for WTF (Worse Than Fish) decklists. It's basically a U/G/r fish list that our very own Jacob Orlove came up with a while ago.

I'm not an expert on Fish by any means, but just by looking I can say I dislike the Ports. You already run 4 Factories, and 5 Strips, so I can't imagine how you get enough colored mana running the ports. They should probably be cut for some combination of basics and Faerie Conclaves.

You might also wanna test Voidmage Prodigy, as you creature count is very low, especially considering you run only 4 man-lands. Curiosity is also a must, but I'm not sure what to cut.

It looks like your creature count is so low because of your mana source count, 25 is extraordinarily high, at most fsh should run about 22, as previously suggested going to WTF/r is probly the best idea.  A typical mana base for it is

4 fetchland
3 volcanic island
3 tropical island
4 wasteland
1 strip mine
4 mishras factory
1 library of alexandria
1 island
1 mox sapphire

With Spiktails, wastelands, null rod, and the occasional gorrilla shaman, rishadan ports are unneeded.
with that manabase your creature base should be made to look like this

4 Cloud of Faeries
4 Spiketail
2 Grim Lavamancer
2 River boa
2 Voidmage Prodigy

There are several great threads on new fish variants right now, like U/W Vial fish, which is on the first page of newbie.  Look around some more, and you'll find alot of information. Oh and Welcome.

I've thought about the prodigy and tested them but with the rishadan ports I don't have a lot of blue mana.

25 mana is very high but in the meta where I play, 85% of the people play waste/strip so I have to play many mana sources and I don't want to cut the rishadan because they are very good against 4cc, landstill and fish because 4cc. Wink

this thread probly won't be closed if you edit your first post to explain your card choices and add an explanation of your meta

If there is so much non-basic hate, why don't you just play mono-blue?  Is it really worth adding green simply for River Boa?  Unless your sideboard is almost all green, I'm really wondering why you added the splash.

Moved to newbie.

Incidentally, you can find a lot of good tech for U/G fish by looking up my old threads on WTF and WTF/r.
