While I'm not so hot on DMB, have you heard of Robert Randolph and the Family Band? They're a soul-style jam band with awesome steel guitars and bass lines. From the fans of DMB that I know, Robert Randolph is the only band that's better than Dave live.

Yeah, I saw them this summer at Bonnaroo, and they were pretty sweet.  I wouldnt say better than Dave, but they were damn good.

I love the LP/Jay-Z stuff, but hate LP by themselves.

Ben Folds is great though, just amazing winter-time listening tunes.  Sauce--next time I pick you up at the train station, its all Ben Folds all the time!

My roommate in college listened to them nonstop for about a year.  It being your car, I will naturally defer, and listen to whatever you wish.  But be warned that I will go behind your back at parties and snobbishly attempt to impress your friends with my spectacular sense of musical taste, and then (after they are so taken by me that they will naturally wish to avoid disagreeing with me) I will whisper to them that you like *gasp* Ben Folds Five!  The Horror!  And that will be the beginning of the end for you.  

I will admit to kind of liking the Jay-Z/LP stuff a bit, too.  But that, for me, has more to do with Jay-Z than it does Linkin Park.
