Hey all, Have you heard about Waterbury Bingo...it's all the rage...all the kids are playing it. Here's how. 1.) You start with a five by five grid like so http://uploads.savefile.com/redir/55769.bmpThen you simply fill in names of 25 type one magic players expecting to play at the upcoming Mana Drain Open V in Waterbury like so. http://uploads.savefile.com/redir/55770.bmpFeel free to discuss your choices with others and strategies(center square tech for example) and of course, post your particular bingo board. Just prior to Waterbury, I will ask a mod to lock this thread so all answers at that point will be finalized. You can mark off on your "Waterbury Bingo" board every player who makes top 32 at the next Waterbury. The person who makes the most bingos(four corners, row, column, diagonal) on their board will receive a special prize mailed to them shortly after the event. In the event of a tie for the most bingos, the winner will be the person with the most overall correct guesses. The last tiebreaker will be placement of those players(for example correctly guessing the winner will hold more weight then guessing the second place finisher and so on). For reference, here is a list of players who attended the previous Waterbury. If your name is not on this list, please indicate that you will be present for anyone that wants to use your name on there board. Good Luck ., matrix ahern, chris amos, jeff anderson, lloyd antil, san bean, steven bedoukian, david Belrastro, Don best, sam bianchi, gerard big, g bilarczyk, andrew blacke, john blaha, mike bransfield, justin brazil, jared brinner, justin britschock, scott broughton, mykeatog Browne, Christipher buddah, gary buddah, jay canfield, corey carabillo, mike carpenter, eric carpenter, jeff carrier, derek carson, wayne carter, jared cesari, paolo chitturi, ashok clavette, ray cogley, nick collins, derek colosi, russell connelly, anthony conole, aaron corsino, john coss, nicholas costanza, rob creamer, nick cunningham, dan d'alfonso, rob daniels, mike demarsico, jim dieterich, christopher dozois, michael drounke, Vince dube, kurtic Dussault, Paul eisenberg, andy emmons, dan esalto, james fany, billy febbroriello, kenton feinstein, David fico, jessica fixler, matt florkassi, peter flynn, patrick gordon, mike goscinik, david graham, sean Guscinak, Kevin hall, Zack harass, wade harding, ryan hatcher, chris hereford, patrick hollingsworth, jan hoover, greg Houdlette, Steve huba, vincent hufnagel, christopher hughes, scott janick, john jarvsinsky, jason jentzer, jacob johnson, keith johnson, steven johnston, chris johnston, ryan johnston, sean Kahn, Jared kaplan, Dan kassis, eli keeney, michael kenny, rob kerezner, aaron kidwell, domenic kitzmiller, chris kolodziej, matt kowal, ben kreinbihl, james kycia, matt laplante, travis lawrence, david leduc, jason lefkowitz, aaron lefkowitz, jared legrow, brian Leidell, Robert leitt, kyle lekarz, aaron longo, john lounsbury, jon Lydon, Mike maher, kevin maloughney, david mangus, peter manoski, joshua marfuta, phil Mazza, DAve mcdunnah, greg mckinney, mike mclaughlan, charles mcnally, matt mcphearson, ben meininger, thomas Mendence, Chris menger, douglas merriam, ross meyer, jp mirtsopoulos, scott montgomery, collin moreau, robert Moss, Chandler normandon, steven oconnel, steve oneil, steven osborn, allen paganetti, john paulson, ahren phelon, brian philbrook, chris powers, greg probasro, andrew ramos, matt reynolds, bryce rice, steven richards, jordon riendean, jason rosenbaum, matt roth, Matt Rozwenc, Caleb rozzero, brian rudolph, jeremiah ruszhowski, michael Sangarnetti, James santi, ryan santiago, angelo satter, justin schmidt, joseph sculimbrene, anthony sees, bill semmelrock, joe Shay, Richard shore, tim simon, hale snow, Matt spector, daniel spillman, john sponenberg, josh stephens, gary stevens, john tarskevich, ben taylor, chris tepper, james Terrrell, Justin the untouch, diana thomas, mike timoney, justin tuttle, marc vallas, nick vantassell, steven ward, brendan ward, ian wargo, dave warren, chandler warren, hunter warren, lee Wilfoy, Ethan windebank, tony winezr, steven winter, carl wolchesky, elliott zahzam, tariq zheng, jason

1) Could you please make the pictures not .bmp but something like .jpg? 2) Picture 1 seems to be not working. 3) Are foreign people allowed to play along? 4) Can Dutchies play along? 5) Can foreign people win something? 6) Can Dutchies win something? 7) Are nicknames of people okay too? Since I don't know any of them in real life. Thanks.

Hmm...it is working for me...however, my particular 5 by 5 grid isnt the be-all end-all. You can just make one up in any program and put 25 names in it. 3.) Foreign people are more than welcome. 4.) Dutchies are more than welcome 5.) Foreign people can most definitly win. 6.) Dutchies can most definitely win. 7.) TMD Handles are okay...but don't use nicknames that only you and one other person know. Good luck.

1.) Can't you just download it and resave it as a JPG in paint? I was actually reffering to the size of it, but whatever. My entry! http://picserver.mirror.twistspace.com/img.php?/8QQSV3T723QU/53V3G8AFV62S/JPEG/1103569028//1072And in case my picserver goes down, which according to the host will happen in a few days. It's not that stable.. From left to right: Rico Suave, Crazycarl, The Atog Lord, Zherbus, Smmenen thorme, Matt, Hi-Val, Saucemaster, Kowal Doomhed, The METHOD, Brassman, Ill_Dawg, J_Orlove Mixing Mike, jpmeyer, Dicemanx, PTW Richard Garfield, Triple_S, Diaonic, Windfall, CH4INS No idea if all of them still play or will attend, but hey; if I'm the only contender. GL, HF, GG.

For the record, Mark Biller (Windfall) has pretty much stop playing constructed Magic alltogether, and currently plans to trade his smaller stuff for power and then sell that. Consequently, there is a 0% chance that he will be appearing at Waterbury. In fact, no one from Michigan will be there. Naturally, this makes for an easier time on everyone who is going. I'm still working on my board. A great deal of thought is going into this...

thorme, Matt, Hi-Val, Saucemaster, Kowal This is pretty funny considering I'm 1500 miles away, own no cards worth mentioning, and have only a pair of unsanctioned fifteen-man 1.5 tournaments under my belt.

ack! i am so damn lazy I couldnt get thing up all fancy like mixing Mike...
Oh well here is my list from left to right....
Row 1: Kyle Leith, Steven Houdlette (Sp?), Rich Shay, Brassman, Method (Ashok) Row 2: Eastman (David Lawrence), Smmenen, Joe Bushman, J.P. Mayer, Zherbus Row 3: Jacob Orlove, Mark Perez, Ben Kowell, Dicemanx, Corey Canfield Row 4: John Longo, Kevin Cron, Carl Winter, Matrix, Eli Kassis Row 5: MixingMike, Doug Linn, Last 3 spots go to random Team Shortbus/meandeck people...
@ Ray ---> Someday you will spell my name right... someday... I have a dream!!! in 2+ years you always put my name in as Kyle Leitt or Kyle Leth... its Kyle Leith!!! I have made enough non-waterbury top 8's that you must have seen it spelled right at some point in time!!! Hell, you have even signed tournement result forms against me... you put the 2 wins check next to my name that was spelled correctly!!! The last name is not that difficult... even for a math teacher... If you can spell Scotts Houdlette (sp?) last name correct how can mine be wrong every tournement for 2+ years! However your tournements are still the best, even though you always make advances on my friend John.

Windfall is indeed still a strong part of the vintage community, at least as far as this bleak state goes, and some playtesting has been done. That said, he will still not be at waterbury. And if anyone would like to dispute Windfall's status, including Windfall himself, feel free to PM me and be put in place. EITD
