Well, sort of. Basically, there's a strategy gaming club at my school, and since I want to get involved in that kind of thing, I'm going to start staying after and playing some group games. These are all super, super Timmy style players from what I've seen, so I went with something I could play and have a good time with, all for a low, low price.

6 Island
4 Forest
4 Swamp
4 Mountain
3 Plains
4 Thawing Glaciers
1 Strip Mine

1 Maze of Ith

1 Swords to Plowshares
1 Dismantling Blow

1 Demonic Tutor
1 Plaguebearer
1 Terror
1 Diabolic Edict

1 Juniper Order Druid
1 Sylvan Library
1 Gaea's Blessing
1 Crop Rotation

1 Boomerang
1 Brainstorm
1 Impulse
1 Fact or Fiction
1 Waterfront Bouncer
1 Rootwater Thief
1 Trade Routes

1 Ancient Hydra
1 Slice and Dice
1 Gorilla Shaman
1 Incinerate

1 Spite/Malice
1 Fire/Ice

1 Questing Phelddagrif
1 Phelddagrif
1 Razorfin Hunter
1 Lim-Dul's Vault
1 Prophetic Bolt
1 Temporal Spring
1 Skeleton Ship
1 Fungal Shambler

1 Soldevi Digger
1 Zuran Orb

Yes, I know it could use a Fastbond... but the cheap ones aren't in stock right now, so screw it. It's pretty fun to toy around with, and it's surprisingly stable in terms of color screw, mainly from the Glaciers. The ratios are all really nice too. I completely realize that all I really did was build The Franchise again, but those days were always my favorite.

Obviously, I'm not looking for improvements or anything. However, since I'm fairly out of the loop as far as new cards are concerned, if anyone has any ideas for cards that would fit the theme (5 colors, junk rares and commons, control deck) please let me know. As you can see, it's intentionally low-power but has a lot of synergy (the Druid/Glacier combo is M I G H T Y). Smile

So I'm not hugely sure whether or not this would be effective but it could possibly get rid of a useless card or two if you come across one.

Devout Witness  2W
Creature- Spellshaper [2/2]

1W, tap, Discard a card from your hand: Destroy target artifact or enchantment.

Seems like a good one of control creature.

I'm a big fan of Granite Shard.
Uncommon artifact for 3 from Mirrodin.
Pay R or 3 and tap to deal 1 to anything.

Azusa, Lost But Seeking from Champions of Kamigawa.
She costs the same 2G as your Druid,
and is a 1/2 that lets you play 2 additional lands a turn.
Current rare, but cheaper to buy than Fastbond or Exploration.

I would definatly go with Isochron Scepter, you have plenty of targets that are nice.

And I suppose you own no dual lands? Even so, the new pitchlands are nice, they are titled:

Bloodstained Mire
Flooded Strand
Polluted Delta
Windswept Heath
Wooded Foothills

Excellent cards in multi-color and even better with the dual lands.

Yep. Darren really hasn't played in awhile and so its good to remind him about 'pitchlands'. Maybe some fetches too.

I would consider adding an Eternal Witness, a Scroll Rack and Isochron Scepter to the mix. LMK if you want descriptions of the cards.
